Mikałaj Rabyčyn was born in the village of Hrudzinaŭka, Mahilou region, on February 26, 1958.
He graduated from the Mahilou cultural and educational school in 1979. He worked as an actor at the Mahilou Regional Puppet Theatre since 1980. He graduated from the acting department of the Belarusian State Institute of Theatre and Arts in 1985.
Then he joined the company of the Moscow puppet theatre Arlecchino, only to come back to Belarus and join the "Dzie Ja" Theatre where he worked from 1989 to 1991. Since 1991 to 2000, he worked at the Republican Theatre of Belarusian Drama. Since 2000 he was actively pursuing a wide range of projects, including a comic folk band Ciešča, as well as a movie career.
He joined the company of the Janka Kupała National Academic Theatre in 2017.
