The Night Before Christmas is full of miracles, jokes, and adventures in famous Gogol’s Dikanka, and the stage Dikanka also amazes with its theatrical irreality; Vakula is flying to "Petimburg" in a skyrocket, cossacks are sitting right on the top of Catherine the Great’s palace, and Devil is reading aloud Gogol’s stories. All these events create an atmosphere of wonders and adventures which can be appreciated not only before Christmas, but all year round.

The play is performed in Belarusian. Simultaneous English or Russian translation may also be available at the performances marked with the special sign in the bill.
