Cafe Austeria UršulaTheatre cafe & bar
In times of the Great Duchy of Lithuania, an austeria (after Italian osteria) was a big coaching inn, which was usually situated in the centre of a city or a town, by its main square. And Uršula is Franciška Uršula Radziwił, the founder of professional Belarusian theatre, whose play is staged at our theatre (see "Uršula Radziwił Theatre").
Austeria Uršula is a neat cosy cafe with a warm atmosphere, friendly staff, and comfortable Viennese chairs. The Austeria is located in the main building of the Janka Kupała Theatre, in the very heart of Minsk. We are open from 11 am to 11 pm seven days a week. From 11 am to 4 pm you can enjoy business lunches. The cafe has also a summer terrace with a view of the Alexandraŭski garden and famous Minsk fountain to look at with a cup of coffee or a jug of good beer.
We are happy to see you in the Austeria before or after the performance. Our menu includes meals of European and famous Radziwił cuisine. It is a good place to hold banquets, corporate events, jubilees and other memorable meetings. The venue seats 70 people, a standing buffet can host up to 300 people.
Please, mind that the entrance to the Austeria faces the Alexandraŭski garden.
